And I feel so lucky to be parenting alongside him, I honestly wouldn't be such a good mum if it wasn't for him. He does the lions share of parenting, especially with Alf since Ada came along. It's been so special seeing their bond grow stronger and stronger. When Alf is sad it's daddy he wants. When he's excited it's daddy he wants to play with. When he's tired it's daddy he wants to put him to bed. I can't wait to watch his and Ada's bond grow. 🥹🤍 He doesn't see raising his children as 'helping'. Because it's our shared responsibility. I often get told how lucky I am because of how 'hands on' Tommy is, and honestly this should be the standard when two people have children. So here's to all their daddy's today who are amazing dads. Who don't *babysit* their own children, who don't 'help around the house'. I hope amazing dads became the standard and not the exception. I am lucky for a multitude of reasons though, and I'm so grateful to be doing this crazy parenting journey with him.
