This week, we are looking at one of the hotel's great assets: its people. The resort currently employs over 350 staff members, including those who joined the company when it first opened 40 years ago. Takashi Sakaguchi, Business Support Manager, aka "Papa," is one of them. He joined the resort when we has a pre-opening office and knows ANA InterContinental Manza Beach Resort better than anyone else. He has worked in a wide range of areas including restaurants, marketing, and accounting, and is currently playing a role of Business Support Manager, overseeing the sections which support hotel operations, including accounting, general affairs, and IT. Sakaguchi loves that commuting is one of the best parts of the day. The view of the beautiful ocean sparkling in the morning sun lifts his spirits as he heads to the office, and after a long day when returning home, the gentle sound of the waves and the sunset soothes his soul and rejuvenate for tomorrow.
