Being in the presence of @iyanlavanzant was surreal. Even though it was my first time meeting her in person, her work and writings have been life changing to me. Being able to express that to her in person has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. How beautiful when you have a distant mentor, somebody that inspires you and when you meet them they are even more than what you thought… Talking about frequency and energy… Omg, she’s a force. To be honest, every single person awarded, in my case I got the Latina Powerhouse award, every single one was an incredible treat to watch and listen to. Words of wisdom, words fully blessed by a higher power, stories that will make you cry and rejoice all at the same time. It was powerful, meaningful and disruptive. We all need that sometimes, good disruption. Thought provoking inspiration… a push to make you believe and take risks. All with God and your angels right by your side.
