ガゴシアン・ギャラリーさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ガゴシアン・ギャラリーInstagram)「“No Justice Without Love,” a group exhibition featuring Titus Kaphar and Stanley Whitney (@stanley.whitney), closes at the Ford Foundation Gallery (@fordfoundationgallery) in New York today, June 30. The exhibition brings together the transformational work of artists, activists, and allied donors who make up the Art for Justice Fund (@art4justicefund) community. Kaphar’s featured work, “From a Tropical Space,” was first presented in an exhibition of the same name at Gagosian, New York, in 2020. The piece presents a haunting narrative of Black motherhood wherein collective fear and trauma crescendo in the disappearance of children, literalized through the physical excision of their images from the canvas itself.
