If you want to go to Positano on a budget, save this post!

I wasn’t going to be on a budget here until I paid $20 for one drink at the beach and saw sunbeds going for as high as $100 (only including wifi and a towel), so I adjusted my fanciness a bit (but just a bit, full honesty, I still got a less crazy expensive bed, did not take the bus, and still ate at the top restaurants)

But anyway, here’s my tips for spending a fabulous day in Positano for under $25:

⛱️ Depending where you’re staying, you can take the Sita bus (it goes literally everywhere) or take it to Amalfi and then take the ferry, both should be less than $5
⛱️ Stop at this Delicatassen just before the beach (look up for it) and buy cold wine or brut, or even Aperol Spritz for less than $15
⛱️ If you don’t want to pay for a sunbed ($35), there’s a sliver of free sand area and don’t forget, it’s free to swim in the ocean! Bring a towel otherwise it’s $5 to rent one
⛱️Use the last $5 for the ride back to your hotel!

Speaking of hotels and where to stay; if you’re on a budget don’t even attempt looking for something affordable in Positano or Amalfi. Stay somewhere like Maiori, Minori, Agerola, etc for less and just take the bus or rent a car like we did!

Next up is how I actually spent the days in Positano, with a budget of $100 per day and doing all of the most notoriously fabulous things!
