We heard soundcheck from outside, met a girl with pneumonia, listened to people describe past Kiss concerts and experienced riot police on horseback firsthand after the crowd broke through the barricade and ran up the stairs. I was 13 at the time and I’m 59 now. Needless to say, I am a life long KISS fan. The feeling has not changed one bit. I watched from the pit with @snakesabo16 who I started the Skid Row journey with. As well as @caseabeer @rockshowld and @shredneck714 . This tour, for me, has been monumental. (especially because there was a chance that I wasn’t going to be able to be part of it). As I watched what may be my last Kiss show, this 59 year old man became the kid that would fight anyone that had the slightest ill word to say about the band. The same kid that stared at the album cover and read everything down to the copyright info over and over and over again. The kid that drew the Kiss logo on all his school books. The kid that knew what day the new Circus, CREEM and Hit Parader would be on the shelves at 7-11 because KISS was in the issue. All that said. KISS started everything for me. Gene unknowingly taught me to play bass. Paul showed me what a rock star was all about. It selfishly bums me out to think that my favorite band is retiring. I understand, but it’s hard to comprehend. It’s hard to imagine a world without KISS. I wish them the best from the bottom of my heart while hoping they’ll do shows again. Thank you Paul, Gene, Eric, Tommy, Doc, Danny and everyone else in the KISS camp for being so cool to us. @kissonline @paulstanleylive @genesimmons @tommy_thayer_official @eric_singer_official」7月4日 7時55分 - officialrachelbolan
