I felt really nervous with it being our first competition for the Olympic qualifications and because, of course, I wanted to start the process with a strong performance and result. I’m really proud to have kept my nerve for each routine. I am always so grateful to progress through each round and honoured to compete amongst the finalists. I went into the final wanting to give my best possible performance so I chose my higher difficulty routine with miller, which was really awesome to compete again on the World Stage - I wasn’t able to for the World Championships last year due to injuring my foot & ankle in the build up 🤦🏼‍♀️! It means a lot to have started my competition season with a win and a great start towards my #Paris2024 Olympic bid! 🤞🏻🇬🇧 🌟 I’m really proud of my team @izzy.songhurst @andrew.stamp @zakperz03 ! We all made semi finals and with Andrew making his finals and performing strongly, it has been a really great competition for GB trampolining!
