New Orleans is famous for Cajun food, and the most famous Cajun food is jambalaya! That is why I had jambalaya. It was more like rice gruel than the kind you get at a Japanese family restaurant, but it had a milder flavor that was easier to eat. It was a mild taste that was easy to eat. I was so relieved to know that this was the local taste.

「ニューオリンズの郷土料理は優しい味でした。」
ニューオリンズといえばケイジャン料理、そしてケイジャン料理といえばジャンバラヤでしょう！というわけで食べて参りました。日本のファミレスで食べるよりもおじやに近いモイスチャーテイストでした、イメージとは少し違って食べやすい優しい味。なるほどこれが現地の味なのかー、何だかホッコリした夜。
