Opening Wednesday’s #DiorAW23 repeat show in Shenzhen, the first look on the runway evoked the emblematic Parisienne at the heart of this collection by @MariaGraziaChiuri. In this timelessly chic pairing of a white shirt and black skirt, the intentionally rumpled fabrics adapt to the wearer’s body and are thus imprinted with her identity. The collection was unveiled against the scenographic background of ‘Valkyrie Miss Dior’, the enormous textile installation by @JoanaVasconcelosAtelier that also appeared in the original Paris show in February.
