The canopy is a symbol of virtue in Buddhism, a lid to protect the precious. The canopy also has a meaning in various beliefs around the world, such as a lid covering the earth (canopy theory). Both of the canopies were made with the image of summer for this exhibition. ††††††††††† 天蓋少年〜金魚玉〜/〜海月〜素材：石膏/布/金属サイズ(mm)：150×85×30 制作年：2023 「天蓋少年」というタイトルで名もなき彼らのカメオ肖像を作りました。天蓋は仏教で尊い者を守る蓋、徳を表す象徴。また地上を覆う蓋(天蓋説)など、世界中の様々な信仰において天蓋は意味を持っています。どちらも展示に合わせ夏の季語を付けました。普段は物語を詳細につけるのですが、今回は特に細かい設定を設けず、お迎えした方に解釈を委ねることにしました。クラブDJをやっているとイベントタイトルやジャンルが縛られ、その中で自由に曲を組み立てていくのですがそれに似ている感覚で面白かったです。余白というのもいいかもしれません。 ††††††††††† #gallery #ギャラリー　#美術　#artgallery #japanartgallery #cameo #galleryhydrangea 　#sculpture #newcontemporaryart」7月14日 21時32分
