清川あさみさんのインスタグラム写真 - (清川あさみInstagram)「本日解禁されました！東京メトロ日比谷線⻁ノ門ヒルズ駅に大型パブリックアート作品、アーティスト・清川あさみ　地下空間に広がる誰も見たことのない都市「Our New World (Toranomon)」が出現🗼東京メトロ日比谷線「⻁ノ門ヒルズ駅」の地下 2 階改札内コンコースに常設されました。永久保存です。公益財団法人日本交通文化協会、森ビル株式会社、公益財団法人メトロ文化財団の協賛のもと実現しました。見た事ないあり方のステンドグラスで地下であっても動く世界を表現したい。人も景色も未来に向かって移ろっていく。その移ろいを表現したい。今までに見た事が無いステンドグラスの使い方を実験し、訪れた世界中の都市や新しい⻁ノ門エリアの風景を集めて、誰も見たことのない新たな都市を創造しました。見る角度によって見え方が変わる効果を取り入れることで、無数のイメージからなるそれぞれの都市の歴史や文化の多様性とその重なりが浮かび上がります。近代的な⻁ノ門ヒルズ駅と結びつき、新たな⻁ノ門の街とつながって、共存していきます。お話頂いたのは２年前、制作時間約 8 カ月。縦約 2.7 メートル　横約 6.0 メートル、ガラスは全 243 種類、3,351 ピースを使用。私がこだわり抜いたのはステンドグラスの新しい見せ方。上に見る角度によって見え方が変わるレンチキュラーレンズの型ガラスを重ねる立体感や動きを出すという新しいアイデアを制作途中に思いつきました。東京の新しい名所虎ノ門の地下にこのような作品を入れられて光栄です。是非動きながら見るパブリックチェックしてみてください🎥 Our New World (Toranomon), a large-scale public artwork, will appear at Toranomon Hills Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, a city that no one has ever seen before in the underground space under the supervision of artist Asami Kiyokawa. The artwork was permanently installed in the concourse inside the ticket gates on the second basement floor of Toranomon Hills Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. The view changes with each step, the view seen today becomes the past, and the view seen tomorrow reveals a new future, different from the one seen today, stimulating people as they pass by and making them feel the passage of time. The new building will be connected to the modern Shinagawa Hills Station, and will coexist with the new Shinagawa area.
