【和田の湯　江戸献上】

約400年前、病弱だった将軍徳川家光公に伊東温泉"和田の湯"200樽が海路献上されました。
その史実に基づき
2003年から毎年200リットルがヨット2隻で東京に運ばれています。
運ばれた源泉は、住吉神社に奉納や、地域の高齢者施設に贈呈されています。

[Wada-no-Yu Edo presentation]

Based on the historical fact that 200 barrels of Ito Onsen "Wada no Yu" were presented by sea to the sickly shogun Iemitsu Tokugawa about 400 years ago.
Since 2003, 200 liters have been transported to Tokyo by two yachts every year.
The transported source is dedicated to Sumiyoshi Shrine or donated to local facilities for the elderly.
