A track called ‘A Premonition Of A Lonely Soul’ under the artist name HOLLOWMAN.. This is a project I’ve been working hard on and off with for a while and to finally start releasing it out into this wild world is definitely a mixed bag. As many of you know I’ve been writing and recording music in various bands and outfits since about the age of 15 and until tomorrow have not yet personally released anything. My default setting is to hold it close. To keep it out of harms way. A parental grip on it all. It’s safer that way but unsatisfactory to harbor all those collaborations and shared ideas. I’ve tried to walk away from music (many times) but can never stop it rattling around my head. So after finally arising out of my own personal trenches I decided to breath deep / put my head down and begin the HOLLOWMAN project. A welcomed signifier to a new and empty horizon. An opportunity to unload all the noise. Both musically and emotionally. As personal as this project has been it has by no means been done alone. To work and collaborate with my close friends, from musicians to visual artists, has been the overwhelming take away from all of this. It blows me up to be elevated by that talent.
