July, part 1:

- Sunset cruise on The Two-Day Boat.
- Long-standing tradition from our nomadic life: mama-daughter bathroom selfie on every road trip. This washroom just happens to be inside an old train car.
- Peach, tomato, and basil salad that my friend @elgieguidry suggested I make.
- Paddling with A!
- A putting her swim team moves to good use off the shallow end of the dock.
- So many thunderstorms. Loved every single one. I’d run down with my phone to snap a shot before they got too close.
- It was the perfect balance of rain to sun. I love it when it rains up north.
- Every morning on the porch. Pages and reading and coffee.
- Can’t help but touch the water.
- We paddled to a friend’s cottage in the canoe and got stuck in the boathouse during this wild, surprise storm. So exciting!
