It has been amazing to just focus on motherhood ❤️ no one prepares you for how those first 8 weeks (and more) will be. It has taken a while for me to feel remotely like myself again. I am nowhere near being “in shape” yet, but my gosh did it feel amazing to hit balls again (even if only at 70%). As an athlete you will always have certain expectations as to what you want to look and feel like, and you want it to happen fast.
