Life rarely offers an experience that is a gift on so many levels at once. I had the opportunity to honor Leo Frank and my own Jewish heritage in a story that is even more urgent now than it was in ‘98. I got to meet a new lifelong companion in @micaela_diamond, and work with the strongest and most generous company of actors I’ve ever performed alongside, led by one of the few directors of our generation whose real kindness matches his real genius. I got to sing the glorious songs of @jasonrobertbrown every night, songs that I’ve loved since childhood, and help bring a truly great piece of musical theater to the heights that it was always destined for. These things just don’t happen, and none of it is lost on me. Thank you to everyone in our building, to Alfred, Jason & Hal for this masterpiece that lives on, and most of all to Leo & Lucille Frank.
