サザビーズさんのインスタグラム動画 - (サザビーズInstagram)「One year after his final trip to Japan, Freddie Mercury wrote the Japanese words “yoake, kisetsu, yume, kibo”, which translate as “breaking dawn, seasons, dreams, hope”, in the chorus to his song La Japonaise, named after the Monet painting. Mercury’s sensitivity to Japan, as witnessed through this song, was also expressed through his extensive collecting of Japanese art and his many visits to the country.
