熱した物質で表面を焼いて表現する伝統的なアート技法のパイログラフを専門とし、熱くしたガラスを巻き取り、筆でドローイングするように描く独自の技法を用いた作品を数多く生み出しています。⁣

29階の通路を飾る躍動的に流れるこの作品は、「氣」のエネルギーを表現したものです。⁣

At the corridor to Chi, The Spa on level 29, the dynamic work entitled “Flow and Dialogue” expresses the energy of 'chi' created by Etsuko Ichikawa, an artist born in Tokyo who is based in Seattle.⁣

She specialises in pyrography, a unique art technique in which the surface is baked with a heated substance. ⁣
