The reason is because this trip made me take a deep breath .Reminded me to enjoy what is in front of you . To be grateful to be who you are and that it is okay to just breathe and do nothing else . In Guam i have met a lot of people. People who were affected by the recent typhoon , people with whom i share the same roots , people who were very nice & friendly . They all made this trip fruitful . We shared each other’s experiences . We accepted each other without knowing if one day we will meet again . I was shocked on how people were always smiling and had this peaceful aura . To the point i actually asked “ why is everyone so nice ?” And he said ,i quote “ how can you be angry when you are in this wonderful place “ And it hit me . He was right . You are who you are because of the world or place you are in. It doesn’t matter how hard you try or listen if where you are , isn’t where you belong . We usually focus on making ourselves better , but what if making our own environment a better place is actually the key to it all ? My take home from this trip is that we everyday are a better version of ourselves , all we have to do is to accept it and make the right choices . We all have different lives , different goals ,different minds but we all have that one thing in common .To be accepted ,respected and loved . Doesn’t have to be the big gestures , just open your eyes and be there in the present . Breathe and Smile . Accept and listen . Be who you are for you and for your love ones . Be grateful and adventurous . Make choices without any regret . We have our own little lives inside this beautiful world . Be more aware of your neighbor , be more open to learn and accept what life is . Your past is a part of you . Your present makes your future .
