Candlewick Co., Ltd.さんのインスタグラム写真 - (Candlewick Co., Ltd.Instagram)「今週はキャンドルウィック社員の夏休みの思い出を紹介します！最初はキャシーから！夏休みの過ごし方が今回のトピックですが、お盆の期間中はどこへ行っても苦手な人混みなので、静かに家で過ごしました。とは言え、犬の世話やお料理とお菓子作りをしながらあっという間に時間が過ぎてしまいました。一つ大きなプロジェクトは、長年育てている植物の植え替えをお友達の助けで、猛暑の中行ったことです。培養土、腐葉土、赤土や引き石など、ホームセンターで買いそろえる物が多く、数日がかりの作業でした。この季節は土を植え替えることによって直ぐに植物が反応して急激に成長し、ベランダがジャングルに。。。植物は特徴が一つ一つ違い、置く場所によって反応が変わるため性格が出て愛着が湧きます。植物も犬も同じ生き物として各々の特徴があり、生命の豊かさを新たに発見し、おもしろみを感じました。 This week, we would like to share how CDW members spent their summer vacation! Today's post is from Cathy. How I spent my summer vacation is the topic for this week. Well... during Obon season, everywhere you go is packed with people and since I am not fond of crowded places, I puttered at home quietly and peacefully. However, time passed quickly as I kept busy caring for a new foster dog, and doing a lot of cooking and baking. I started one big project with a help of a friend, of replanting the plants I have been growing for many years. It was not the easiest of tasks in this heat. It took a few days of work and got all the necessary materials such as soil, humus, red clay, and pebbles from the home improvement store. During this time of year, plants react immediately to the change of soil and grow rapidly, turning my balcony into a jungle... As I check up on my plants every day, I can see how each plant has its own unique characteristics, and depending on where it is placed, it reacts differently, showing its personality.
