Fried Okura
Servings: 2

INGREDIENTS
8 okura
Salt, as needed
2 tablespoons, noodle soup base (aka Mentsuyu)
1 teaspoon grated garlic
3 tablespoons potato starch
Vegetable oil, as needed

PREPARATION
1. Rub salt on okura and rinse well.
2. Remove the stem and cut okura into small pieces (1.5cm).
3. Put okura pieces with noodle soup base and grated garlic in a plastic bag to marinate.
4. Add potato starch (2 tablespoons) into the bag (3) to coat okura pieces. Add
another tablespoon of the potato starch to coat evenly.
5. Deep fry (4) in the oil (170°C/ 338°F) until crispy.
6. Enjoy!
