September mood board 🍂

1. A salted caramel latte by the apple tree outside. We got four tubs of apples, so I’m challenging myself to try as many apple-related recipes as I can all month.
2. Any waking moment I’m not in mom mode, this is where I’ll be. Hot tea, headphones and many work hours ahead of me.
3. Doing weekly bonfires at the house to work through our burn pile. Plus, it doubles as an inexpensive, ambient date night, no babysitter required.
4. September always makes me want to read Anne of Green Gables. It has such a golden, nostalgic sense and beautiful atmospheric writing that reads like a warm hug in a sunset-feeling month. Book 2 is my current fiction read.
5. Savouring these morning walks, especially as the leaves are just starting to change, knowing in a few weeks time it’ll be too cold, and I’ll envy this ability.
