松島エミさんのインスタグラム写真 - (松島エミInstagram)「Mount Langley! Exactly 1 year ago I did my first backpacking trip which was Mount Whitney. That experience had such an impact on me that it made me want to go and climb and experience as many mountains as I can within my abilities and time that I have. Be it on foot, ski or climbing. A lot of the time you are not able to complete your mission/goal because there is so much that influences the outcome other than your initial curiosity and want to do something. This time it was unexpected bad weather. (Maybe most of the time haha) the winds were so strong with even stronger gusts that we were struggling to walk straight, being blown to the side between each step. Shoutout to Renee who called it while it took me a little while to accept it. We were already at 3700m and just 3km from the summit which was in sight so it was extra hard to turn around. Soon after we turned around dark clouds started rolling in at crazy speeds and it was very soon clear we made the right call! Especially still having to pack up camp and then head back to trailhead which still made it a 20km day.
