Want a marathon tip? Pt 1

In the last 2-3 weeks…don’t let your excitement or anxiousness get you out of your zone…finish the training block calm and strong!

The last few weeks is definitely crunch time but there is no reason to drive yourself crazy or try to CRAM in more miles than planned or start lifting weights…do what you’ve been doing and do it well. If you’ve been staying diligent with your training…trust that…remain calm.

Shift that nervous energy to focus on your runs (all of them…not just the big stuff left on the schedule). Focus on the easy runs to keep it chill. Take this time to smile and laugh with friends on your runs.

Use that “can’t believe the race is in two weeks” energy to sharpen your focus on all things recovery…including sleep!

Moral of the story is…stay locked in! When race day comes…you’ll be ready!

Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro is dope! Not only is it a beautiful shoe…it really gets the job done! They took a risk with the design (no heel) and I feel like it pays off. When you put these on you just feel fast. On top of that…it’s a comfortable, bouncy, snappy and quick race day shoe with a carbon plate! Good job Mizuno!

Can’t wait to lace these or any new version up for a marathon someday!!!
