These old-fashioned machines, which require careful maintenance and are devoid of numerical settings, enable skilled artisans to create fabrics with a unique classic charm using their tactile intuition and years of expertise. For this parka, we aimed to recreate the vibe of the 1970s, when these knitting machines were commonly in use. After the sewing process, we bio-washed the pigment-dyed material to create an intriguing uneven and faded effect.
