New York Fashion Week is a dayslong, cross-city exhibition of fashion, but it’s also a week full of fabulous parties.
On Tuesday, the Pool restaurant in Midtown Manhattan was filled with marquee names for the second annual Caring for Women Dinner hosted by the Kering Foundation. Oprah Winfrey and @サルマ・ハエック were co-chairs for the dinner and, inside the dining room, Leonardo DiCaprio sat with Olivia Wilde, Prabal Gurung and Malala Yousafzai, and across from Zoë Kravitz and her partner, Channing Tatum. Seated nearby were Kim Kardashian, the skier Lindsey Vonn and Lauren Sánchez, who is engaged to Jeff Bezos.
On Friday night, on the Upper East Side, about 40 guests, including Sofia Coppola, Oscar Isaac and Jared Leto, trickled into a small dinner at the Salon 94 gallery, in part to celebrate a very expensive face cream from @augustinusbader and Haider Ackermann. Timothée Chalamet and @カイリー・ジェンナー, whom Ackermann dressed for this year’s Met Gala, were also there, further stirring dating rumors.
And on Monday, in a cavernous venue on West 57th Street, a large replica of Michelangelo’s David greeted guests including Coco Rocha, Vivica A. Fox and Saweetie as they arrived at the after-party for LaQuan Smith’s Spring/Summer 2024 show.
