Put weight on my foot today without the boot and didn’t immediately crumble to the floor in pain. Getting closer every day. This pic was taken by my talented sister @bayleebartonphoto two days before my fall running up the stairs in Birkenstocks. Kids- don’t run on the stairs. You’d think I’d have learned that by now after 4 previous encounters with stairs that all left my leg shattered, my foot broken (twice) and my tailbone broken. But nope- I’m all action first, consequences later.
