To coincide with the exhibition, Gagosian and the Art Students League of New York (@aslnyc) will present a conversation on Lichtenstein at 6:30pm on Monday, September 18, between Daniel Belasco (@belascodaniel), executive director of Al Held Foundation (@alheldfoundation), and Scott Rothkopf (@scott_rothkopf), senior deputy director and chief curator of the Whitney Museum of American Art (@whitneymuseum). Moderated by Alison McDonald, chief creative officer at Gagosian, the discussion will highlight multiple perspectives on Lichtenstein’s decades-long career, during which he helped originate the Pop art movement.
