RACHEL BOLAN & DAVE “SNAKE” SABO, original founders of the band “Skid Row”, are joining us at Spooky Empire this October! RACHEL (Bass) and DAVE (Guitar) formed Skid Row in 1986 in Tom’s River, NJ. Skid Row's breakthrough came in 1989 with the release of their self-titled debut album, "Skid Row." The album featured hit singles like "18 and Life" and "I Remember You," which helped catapult the band to international stardom. The album went multi-platinum and established Skid Row as one of the leading bands of the glam metal era. In 1991, the band followed up their debut success with the release of "Slave to the Grind," which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, making Skid Row the first heavy metal/hard rock band to achieve this feat. The album showcased a heavier and grittier sound compared to their debut and featured hits like "Monkey Business" and "Wasted Time." Skid Row continues to perform and record music today, along with original guitarist Scotti Hill, drummer Rob Hammersmith, and vocalist Erik Gronwall. Their most recent album, “The Gangs All Here” was released 2022.
