Best of luck to the competitors! “Ken and I loved the STPR Rally and competed there several times over the years, collecting numerous wins including our last ever win together in 2022. The flat out nature of the roads suited Ken's driving style perfectly and in the later years when some more technical stages were introduced for the event, didn't change how much we enjoyed competing there. One of the most memorable moments at this rally however was the very first time we went there, in 2005.  The organizer offered a shakedown stage just prior to the event start, which featured a kick/jump just over the flying finish of the stage. I think that particular jump made Ken discover how much he could apply some of the dynamics of his "other" action sports, snowboarding and skateboarding, to his newly found love for rallying. And who knows, that particular jump could have opened a long series of ideas in his mind that we would all witness shortly after in his driving career.   Every time we went over this particular kick, he would approach it faster and faster, until we made the jump pictured in this spectacular photo here. You might see jumps that are more dramatic nowadays in our sport, but what made that a special photo is that particular car was a "Group N" car, which was more a production based car (which Ken drove on his first year of Rallying and was the main national class here in the USA). Unfortunately after that massive jump, we ended up in a swamp that was right on outside of the corner. Not much damage and we rejoined the shakedown as soon as we could retrieve the car, but there is a very entertaining photo somewhere of both of us standing on the car, surrounded by a couple of feet of water, waiting for our service crew to get us out.  The cool factor was also that the photo of the landing was featured on Ken's first ever poster, which I have attached a photo as well.“ - Alex #KB43VER #Rally #AlexGelsomino #KenBlock #STPR #Racing #FlatOut43VER #ARA #AmericanRally #2005 #Jump」9月17日 22時54分 - kblock43
