The image is of my girls as the superheroes that they are amidst the hilarity of the hospital escape scene. I watched this movie countless times as a child. It made a lasting impression on me that resonates to this day. I cannot wait for my daughters to see it. Due to recent rulings my daughters now have fewer rights than all of the women in this film did 43 years ago. That is heartbreaking. However, this painting is one of the hope and confidence I have in them that they are strong enough to make things change. They are as powerful and unique as Judy, Violet, and Doralee. They are Wonder Women.
