ＵＤトラックスさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ＵＤトラックスInstagram)「English follows Japanese 9月1日～2日、ＵＤトラックスといすゞ自動車は、初となる共同お客様向けイベント「ディスカバリーツアー2023」を開催しました。大型トラックの比較試乗を中心に、2024年問題についてのビジネスセミナーやいすゞグループのカーボン・ニュートラルへの取り組みも紹介しました。試乗会はいすゞ北海道試験場で開催され、午前中はクオン、ギガ、プロフィア３種類の大型トラックを一周4.4kmの直線周回路で比較試乗を行い、各車の運転性能の違いを参加者ご自身で体感いただきました。午後は共同開発した新型トラクターを使ってアクティブステアリング装着車・非装着車の違いを比べる試乗も行われ、参加されたお客様には一日を通して北海道の自然に囲まれた中でＵＤトラックスといすゞ自動車の最新技術を存分に堪能いただきました。お客様からは「ずっと興味があったのですが、なかなか機会に恵まれず、今回やっと試乗でトラックの比較ができ貴重な体験となりました。」との感想や「いすゞとＵＤ両社の製品にかける思いが伝わってきました。本当に感動しました。」とのお声が寄せられました。ＵＤトラックスといすゞは、今後も共同開催イベントを継続して開催していく予定です。 On September 1-2, UD Trucks and Isuzu Motors held the first joint customer event, “Discovery Tour 2023”. It focused on test drives of heavy-duty trucks for potential customers. The event also included a seminar on 2024 legislation that limits driver overtime hours and Isuzu Group's carbon neutral initiatives. The test drives were held at the Isuzu Hokkaido Proving Ground. In the morning, participants were able to compare and test drive three types of heavy-duty trucks (Quon, GIGA, and Hino's Profia) on a 4.4 km circuit to experience for themselves the differences in driving performance of each vehicle. In the afternoon, a test drive was held with the new tractor jointly developed by the two companies to compare the differences between vehicles equipped with and without UD Active Steering. One customer commented, “I have been interested in Isuzu trucks for a long time, but I never had a chance to drive and compare them other trucks, so it was a valuable experience for me. I could also feel the passion that both Isuzu and UD Trucks put into their products. I was really impressed”.
