I was wiped out and down in energy… Then out of no where? I got a text from a true legend in JD aka @jermainedupri [ see my last post ] who asked me to join him on stage to be apart of his 30 year anniversary @sosodef I was on an ALL TIME HIGH….. Me and my lady got dressed and was about to rush out the front door before the Red carpet cut off…. And I got a call that my beloved older passed away suddenly [ Shonta Gibson ] fully traumatized and being the leader of my family… I tucked my emotions and activated that INNER JESUS FOOT SOLDIER STRENGTH got the family fully situated [ struggled w/ the idea of letting JD DOWN ] I prayed and pushed through got through the tribute, smiled kept my sisters passing to myself! Then dashed to my family stayed with them all till 3am….. Then I woke up to the news that my song [ one of my big sis Shon’s favorite ] was #1 most added to radio for the 3rd week in row… Down a mother Priscilla, and BOTH big sisters Salendra and now Shonta Gibson and both the HIGHS and lows of this week is truly truly one of a kind… Mentally and emotionally draining and traumatizing :[ Pray for my family please guys….
