Surrounded by rolling fields and wild rhododendron,
Jean has escaped deep into the Welsh countryside.
She's painted her doors in primary colours.
and her walls with the dye used for marking the sheep.
She spends a lot of time
taking and printing photographs, reading, and fooling around
with her dogs.
She's a girl without frills,
looking for her own answers, and leading a very private life.
We photographed her in the most natural clothes wool plain and Donegal, alpaca and printed, knitted, woven and crocheted, layered, shirred, aproned and hooded.
And Jean made them
all come alive.
