Later today, our partners at @gvlt will be hosting a dedication of the soon-to-be complete Medicine Wheel and Mountain Range Finder in our beloved backyard: Burke Park/Peets Hill in Bozeman, Montana. The gathering is devoted to helping us all deepen our understanding of this beloved landscape through history and geography. The Bozeman community will gather for a blessing of the new space, a celebration of Indigenous Peoples’ Day, and words shared by honorable speakers. The City recognizes that Indigenous Peoples have occupied the lands that now constitute the City of Bozeman since time immemorial; and Bozeman is built upon their homelands, hunting grounds, and along their sacred waterways.
