My first runnn, I did it!! I very quickly realized that I don’t know how to pace myself, how to breathe efficiently, or how to TAKE ON HILLS BC OMG THEY DESTROYED ME.

I was kind of expecting, not necessarily, a “runners high” but at least similar endorphins to what I feel after a really good lift — that like powerful feeling where smiling comes easily and I just feel like I conquered the world.

Instead my face was beet red, I was clammy with sweat, and I kinda just wanted to throw up.

I wasn’t trying to hit a certain time by any means but I still think a 15 min mile is…. below average, lol. I feel like I was definitely doing closer to a sprint/walk than a constant *jog* — my body just doesn’t know how to make that pace work. BUT TOMORROW WE GO AGAIN, and we practice until we get it right!

I’m looking forward to learning and adapting my body more to a new challenge. Any tips you have for new runners and more than welcome below! I NEED ALL THE HELP I CAN GET, trust 😂 #runvlog
