I used to train 7 days a week because I thought working out more would make me ‘more fit’. I figured training more would give me better results….wrong. One of the biggest reasons people fail on their fitness journey is because they make 100 changes overnight, overtrain, barely eat and put themselves through things that aren’t sustainable or realistic long term. They feel defeated, go back to their old habits and the cycle continues . Your body needs time to REST & recover no matter what your fitness goals are. . When I started to train LESS and eat more is when I started to see progress and results. I currently train about 4 days per week and it’s not only what works best for body but also my lifestyle and schedule. I have BETTER workouts that I look forward to and I’m properly fueled for them so I have more energy as well! . You do NOT need to spend hours in the gym, do endless amounts of cardio and put yourself on restrictive diets to see results.
