Sharing a good skating skills exercise that’ll be a good addition to your on ice session warm up. Try it out. 😉

First exercise: basic s step. Find a friend to help you feel the deep outside to inside edge. They’ll also help you steer in the right direction and help you control the initial check.

In the solo s step exercise, there are two forward insides and two backward outside edges on repeat. Here’s what to work on: -consistent rhythm
-knee bend action
-rotation in the hips
-good turn out
-knees apart
