10月17日、川崎重工業(株) 神戸工場において、#たいげい型 潜水艦４番艦の命名式・進水式が行われ「#らいげい 」 と命名されました。「らいげい」は「雷鯨」と書き、力の象徴としての「雷」と艦型の「鯨」を組み合わせたものです。海上自衛隊内で募集をし、防衛大臣が決定しました。

17 OCT, the Naming and Launching Ceremony for the TAIGEI class #SS 4th was held at Kobe Works, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. SS was named #RAIGEI. It’s written “thunder whale”, a combination of the words “thunder” and “whale”, as a symbols of power.
