We are now over halfway through the Square Print Sale, curated in collaboration with @worldpressphoto. Throughout this week, we continue to celebrate light and the act of photography with a selection of over 100 signed or estate-stamped prints, priced at $110 + tax. ⁠

In his image statement, Dennis Stock references Walt Whitman’s 1892 poem Song of Myself: “And there is no object so soft but it makes a hub for the wheel’d universe.” Stock’s 1970 capture exemplifies the resplendence of the sun as light distilled to its purest form, manifesting a tangible world of authentic photographic possibility.⁠

An image from @ernst_haas_estate, captured in 1969, depicts drying leaves curling on an autumn morning. As light reflects through the moisture in the air, rays of color caress the leaves in a reaffirmation of light’s eternal cycle with nature.⁠

@nikoseconomopoulos’ photo of two women in a bustling street restaurant in Myanmar is a joyful interpretation of the relationship between light and humanity: “The light that streams through falls directly upon the beaming laughter the two women share. This interplay of light and emotion – between the celestial, iridescent light and a moment of shared joy and humanity – is almost as if the sun itself is drawn to the sheer happiness they exude."⁠
