What’s a toddler’s rule of possession?

If they can take it from you, it’s theirs. Finders keepers (losers weepers). Are you a parent/guardian who’s mustered the strength to fly with an infant, tot, or child? We’ve scratched together some helpful tips that should keep any hangriness at acceptable levels. Here’s a rundown from screening to plane:

🆔For domestic travel within the U.S., we don’t require ID at the checkpoint for passengers under 18. However, please reach out to your airline as their policy may differ.

👶🏼Remove infants and children from strollers and car seats and carry them in arms through the walk-through metal detector.

✅Strollers, umbrella-strollers, baby carriers, car and booster seats and backpacks must be screened by X-ray. Equipment that does not fit through the X-ray machine will undergo a visual/physical inspection by TSA officers.

👟Children 12 and under can leave their shoes, light jackets and headwear on during screening.

🍟A toddler’s mealtime is just different. You’ll be happy to hear solid foods of any kind are good to go in carry-on and checked bags.
