Rapping wasn’t ever really in the cards for Def Jam’s (@defjam)  ready-to-explode rap artist   Lady London (@LadyLondon)… until she hit Howard University: 

“Howard changed my trajectory on everything,” she says. 

There, her hobby for poetry turned into more of a sport as Lady began bodying spoken word competitions on campus and around D.C. 

Fast forward a few years, a couple hundred thousand followers and a Def Jam deal later – it’s looking like Lady is ready to run the table.
