Dark Sky Preserve is an area in which no artificial lighting is visible and active measures are in place to educate and promote the reduction of light pollution.

Jasper celebrates this by hosting a Dark Sky Festival—a three weekend event with cosmic festivities. This year it ends on October 29th, it’s an incredible opportunity for dark sky viewing and out-of-this-world fun! 🌟
