Samuel L. Jackson is among those paying tribute to late "Shaft" actor Richard Roundtree: "I see you walking down the Middle of Main Street in Heaven & Issac’s Conducting your song," Jackson wrote in an Instragram post.

Roundtree, best known for his portrayal of Detective John Shaft in the "Shaft" film franchise, died Tuesday at the age of 81, with his family by his bedside, following a brief battle with pancreatic cancer, his longtime manager told ABC News.
