Each HIBI chopstick is carefully polished to feature the natural texture of wood, and finished with natural bee wax to make it feel soft and comfortable in the hands. The chopsticks are brought to life one by one by the skilled craftsmen of Obama City in Fukui Prefecture, which has a long history as the birthplace of “Nuribashi” (lacquered chopsticks) in Japan. ⁠
