They were producing exceptional coffees, exactly what Stumptown wanted to serve. A long-term partnership was born of this shared commitment to quality. In the following years, Stumptown sought out exemplary coffees from other farms, many of which were Cup of Excellence winners: Honduras El Puente, Nicaragua Los Delirios, and Colombia Cantillo Family, among others. Building on those initial purchases, we got to know the families and the farms behind the coffees, forging long-term relationships that we’re fortunate to continue to this day. These single origins are perennial customer favorites. We source additional coffees from many of these partners for our blends. In 2022, over 90% of our coffees came from Direct Trade relationships of three or more consecutive years. The consistency in sourcing is due to our good fortune in having outstanding partners all over the world.
