My Mah-Mah (grandmother on my dad’s side) was fiercely independent, funny, caring, and loved her family more than anything. She loved to cook and taught me how to make my favourite Chinese dishes. She was also amazing at Chinese painting, which she tried to teach me (rather unsuccessfully).

Love you Mah-Mah. I’ll always make juk and lo bak goh just like you taught me. Rest in peace ❤️
