I always start out snapping photos with out saying anything to willow about shooting. just observing her then I join in to her play and a natural imagination fill conversations starts and before you know it we are playing and I am capturing real moments with her. 2. Whimsical prop. A small prop goes far I always chose something that might be in a Wes Anderson movie. But it can also be as simple as like walking stick we found. 3. Clothing. Something they love but also I like to choose something timeless or vintage feeling. No logos something simple. Color is real important I like to color block what they where with the background. 4. Patient. We offten ask our child to have more patients then we are willing to have with them when taking photos. We get aggravated they won’t look or pose when we want them to but trust me it’s much better to sit and wait for them to walk in to the moment than forcing them.
