A generation of Le Mans winners paved the way for the production of the R8. Which would you most want to drive?

1. The 2000 R8 V8 Bi-Turbo was the first R8 to win Le Mans. With Franck Biela, Tom Kristensen and Emanuele Pirro at the wheel, it began a run of five wins in six races from 2000 to 2006.

2. The 2000 R8 Bi-Turbo, this time in a special crocodile livery designed for the Race of a Thousand Years in Adelaide, Australia. This time driven by Allan McNish and Rinaldo Capello for another win.

3. The 2005 R8 driven by Tom K, J.J. Lehto, Marco Werner was the last outing for the R8 and another Le Mans win, completing one of the most successful runs in the race’s history.

4. The 2012 R18 e-tron quattro was the next generation of 24-hour racer with its hybrid powertrain and closed cockpit. It was first driven to victory at Le Mans by Marcel Fässler, André Lotterer and Benoit Tréluyer, and remained unbeaten three consecutive times from 2012 to 2014.
