Yesterday, I spoke with President Herzog of Israel on the one month anniversary of the Hamas terrorist attack. I emphasized @POTUS and my support for Israel’s right to defend itself from terrorism and the importance of respecting civilian life and humanitarian law. I also underscored our focus on securing the release of hostages and increasing the delivery of humanitarian aid.

As @POTUS and I have made clear, Israelis and Palestinians deserve equal measures of security, prosperity, and freedom.
